Our stay was great, thoroughly enjoyed outstanding and great breakfasts.

location: the hotel was right by melbourne has been planned out by robert hoddle from the 1830's, close to many restaurants in bourke street, and sofitel on collins numerous times since joining accor plus in 2010. ate at julian serrano tapas, it's at a moderate distance from the venue. we had a comfortable bedroom.

My room here was amazing! the views were stunning, and the coffee just hit the spot. Having a fridge, coffee maker, and glassware made it all even better. 🌟.

The hotel is conveniently located near a tram stop, a famous landmark, and a beautiful church that is definitely worth visiting.

It has quiet location close to The Atrium.

This hotel offers outstanding and great breakfasts with rolls and spectacular views and a salad. I liked my room - well furnished with a view. Also, the location is magnificent, minutes from a public gallery.

The superior king room had lovely views and came with a complimentary glass of bubbly. the hotel is in a marvelous location close to free transport and Flinders Lane.

It was a great location and the service was fantastic.

Nearly all meals were great, but the steak for room service did seem very much like a sandwich steak (if compared to the price).

The staff were high quality. the location near the shops and St Patrick's Church was stunning. the room was comfortably furnished with fantastic views. the service was impeccable and made the hotel a gorgeous place. Free wake-up service and ironing were offered.

We enjoyed the whole weekend away experience. The room was well appointed with amazing views overlooking the city and the bay. In fact the best city accommodation view that we have ever had. The staff were courteous and efficient and our needs were well taken care. We would not hesitate in staying there again for a special occasion.

Our experience at the sofitel melbourne was once again a memorable one.The staff service impeccable, location perfect right near all shopping, restaurant, sporting facilities, entertainment venues and the tram stop right out front of hotel complex. The room size and sleeping facilities soo comfortable with magnificent views of the yarra river and various city locations.The hotel is well set back from the main area of Collins St. so is very quiet and no traffic noise during your stay there. We highly recommend this hotel..

The location of the hotel is awesome. The facilities in the room is great except the internet.

Internet charges and connectivity. Not enough of tv channels. The internet facility should be part of the room rate even if room rate has to be increased. We are in 2011.
